Stitching Galore!
Version 3.0

Happy Holidays!!

I felt that it was high time to unplug and pull out my stitch bag from underneath the coffee table.  I've managed to get two projects done since Sunday!  I'm working on getting everything scanned and posted up, including some finished projects that I never scanned!

It seems that with winter upon us, I'm much more content to hang out on the couch with an episode of Law & Order on and stitch away until my eyes get tired.  I'm back into stitching, at least for the time being, and I'm very much enjoying doing it again!

I hope everyone has a very Happy Holiday!  I'm planning on spending Christmas Eve stitching until the boy gets home from work, before we go out visiting with friends!

Hello There!

It seems like it's been FOREVER since I've updated the site.  Truthfully, it has been!  Amazing how some things seems to fall by the wayside when your life gets busy!

I haven't been stitching as much as I would like.  My stitch bag sits under the coffee table, untouched for weeks...sometimes MONTHS...at a time.  My eyes haven't been cooperating lately and so my stitching lies forgotten.  I haven't been supply shopping in forever.  I haven't bought any new Lizzie*Kate or Sweetheart Tree patterns in well over a year.  What is wrong with me?!?

Part of the problem is the fact that by the time I get home from work, all I want to do is lay on the couch and watch TV.  I'm lazy.  I'm working on Lavender & Lace's "Angel of Winter", my biggest undertaking to date, along with a myriad of other smaller projects.  Projects that SHOULDN'T take that long to do.

I remember when I would sit and stitch most of the weekend.  Pop a movie into the DVD player and only move from the couch to put a new movie in or hit the potty.  But that was back when I was involved with a man who lived his life only for himself.

Now I'm in a relationship with a wonderful man who actually like to go out and do stuff TOGETHER...like shopping or going up to PA to visit my parents.  We lead busy lives and my stitching is one of the things that seems to have fallen by the wayside.

Time to remedy that.  And it's going to happen TONIGHT!

Full Steam Ahead!

Yes, I know it looks a bit like my personal site with a few tweaks.  What can I say?  I needed a change but didn't have the time to do a full-scale redesign.  I've got tons of other things on my plate right now, and it is Springtime, you know!  We've also had some server problems, as well, but those have been straightened out.  Plus, I've been trying to catch up on some stitching!

New Year, New Layout.

I thought it high time to update my cross stitch site.  I've been letting it sit dormant for way too long neglecting it the way I've neglected my stitching.  I have stitched anything in well over four months.  My life has been in such a turmoil.  But I am making one New Year's Resolution...and that is to try and stitch on at least one project at least once a week, even if it is for only an hour!

Love...

An interesting link that needs to be pointed out...

Do you have a project that sits, unfinished and just begging to be done, but you find that you don't have the heart or energy to do it?  Have you started a project that you just adored at one time, but now can stand the sight of it?

Who you gonna call?

GHOST STITCHERS!

This is an absolutely wonderful idea...why didn't someone think of this sooner?  I may just have to take advantage of their services!
