BEARS
"Cherished Teddies Christmas Wreath." A freebie pattern from DMC, it's one project that I've been working on for YEARS. Since 1995! Finally finished. The gold flecks you see are actually gold threads in the aida cloth.
Finished December 20, 2004.
"Paddington Bear." Done for John and Jeannine's eldest daughter Julia when she was born. I love the way this came out with the bright frame and mat. I custom designed the lettering on the pattern, as I didn't like the one that came supplied with it.
Finished 1-21-2000.
"Teddy's Wreath" by Just Nan (This one is my personal favorite...the framer did an incredible job on this!) Being a Just Nan, this project was originally supposed to be done on linen, but since I didn't know how, I adapted it to aida. I think it worked out just fine!
Finished 8-31-1999.
"Be Merry All." This is one of two Cherished Teddies that I've done and also my favorite. I think is bear is just too adorable!
Here's the other one. "Boy's Teddy." Finished during the stitch-a-thon. I was so happy to finally get this one done...it had been sitting in my WIP (Works In Progress) pile for what seemed like forever.
Finished 10-29-1999.
Another one of my favorite teddy bears. This is one of those projects I did wayyyy back when...when finishing was either having things framed or leave it in a hoop!
"Santa Bear." With Christmas being my favorite time of year, there are a lot of Christmas-y themed projects that I have done. This is one of them.
